Summary:
This person working in this role will be a Marketing & Events Coordinator that can support our trade shows, sales meetings, and internal events as well as various special projects and marketing activities.
This full-time position is a great opportunity to join a veteran marketing team at a leading supplier of food processing and packaging equipment.
The coordinator will report to the VP of Marketing and work directly with our Senior Marketing Specialists as well as our creative and sales teams, suppliers, vendors, and business partners.
This is an in-office position that will allow the coordinator to gain experience across multiple marketing disciplines.
We are expanding a great team due to increased sales and growth throughout our organization.
This candidate should possess skills with digital marketing, events, and tradeshow experience.
They should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while completing multiple projects at any given time.
Duties /
Responsibilities:
Assist with end-to-end planning, production, support and execution of our trade shows and events globally Travel to tradeshows and/or international events when necessary Support and manage strong relationships with vendors, venues, event organizations and partners Assist with various internal events and initiatives as needed Support sales and drive brand awareness Oversee logistics, packing and preparations for events and trade shows Work with design team on updating and managing company website Work with digital team to reorganize and review sales mobile app Assist in photo and video shoots when necessary Restock, reorder, and develop promotional material as needed Assist with other lead generation activities as needed Required Skills / Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or Communications or related job title Minimum 2-5 years of experience with event planning or tradeshows (10-15% annually to sites like Cancun, Las Vegas, Chicago, Atlanta, Dominican Republic and potentially more) Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously, with care given to each Proficient written and verbal communication skills to ensure brand consistency; ability to handle pressure and deadlines Proven ability to build and maintain relationships across highly functional teams including sales, engineering, and operations Strong coordination and collaboration skills with fundamental project management skills Highly organized and a self-starter; meticulous attention to detail and follow through Skilled in the use of Microsoft office software to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Bilingual skills with Spanish would be highly preferred Education and
Experience:
At least two to five years of related experience required.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
We would prefer to have someone with Events and Tradeshow management experience Event Logistic experience is highly preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
