Essential Functions of this role:
Work Order Technicians start a REISER career with a product training program at our office in Canton, MA and are welcomed into the shop.
As a customer-focused technical product expert, the Technicians will apply highly developed troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical skills, and sound knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic control systems to work directly on new and old packaging machinery equipment and the ancillary attachments that are created for that equipment.
We are looking for a career minded individual that is open to working 1st shift hours with occasional weekend overtime.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
Read diagrams, blueprints, schematic drawings, engineering specifications and service manuals to determine work procedures.
Works independently on diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing issues while handling multiple projects at a time.
Prepares machine orders for the processing shop, reconciles component parts on customer machines and pulls parts for processing Data entry into the company ERP system Participate as necessary in new projects to install or improve the safety and performance of existing and new equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
One year of maintenance, automotive or technical experience - servicing, troubleshooting and repair of electro-mechanical machinery.
Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical concepts Initiative, critical thinking, complex problem solving, judgement and decision making, persistence, attention to detail, adaptability, flexibility, concern for others and leadership.
Hand and power tool experience.
Ability to stand be on feet all day and lift up to 70lbs regularly.
Bilingual English-Spanish skills are a plus but not necessary for this role.

Compensation:
This position pays hourly.
Any hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week will be paid at time and a half.

Year-end bonuses that equal 2 weeks' pay once you have been here a year.
