A great company in Stoughton, MA is seeking an Business Analyst who will report to the Chief Technology Officer as an integral addition to the business. The incumbent will provide support for all aspects of development, implementation and operations of company applications. In direct collaboration with decision makers, they will identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost effective application solutions for the organization.
You will have the opportunity to learn every aspect of the enterprise and have a direct impact on integral company processes including visiting product delivery sites and interacting with managers in each department to understand and improve the business.
Participate in IT department operational planning, including business requirements, project planning, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources
Establish themselves as the application expert for the business by learning every aspect of the enterprise
Keep up with current with trends and issues in the IT and application industries, including current technologies and pricing.
Advise, counsel, and educate executives and management on their competitive or financial impact
Work with Third Party developers to provide support for the business critical billing application
Provide day-to-day management of QA iteration release schedules
Provide basic triage and support for the SQL and .Net environments,
Provide day-to-day management of the third party development organization
Create analytical tools and models (using Access and SQL) to provide data reporting to the analytics staff
Essential Functions:
3-5 years experience working in Database, Server, and Desktop IT environments.
2-4 years experience with SQL Database and .Net needed.
Some experience in collaboration with third party, off shore, out sourced QA and Scrum support teams.
Experience with Scrum iterations and high-pressure solution environments a plus.
Substantial exposure to data processing, hardware platforms, enterprise software applications, and outsourced systems.
Experience with database design, development and reporting a must.
Knowledge of Microsoft Virtustream, App River for Exchange, Sugar for CRM, Microsoft Access Database reporting, and Microsoft Dynamics for Accounting beneficial but not required.

SQL and .NET
Database understanding, (SQL/.NET/Access preferred), ability to quick fix/patch and communicate with end users to liaise with development team in Romania.
Experience collaborating with third party off shore QA and Scrum support teams is a plus including establishing priorities and managing timelines and UAT, for releases that impact the business.
Tim is a hands on manager and needs a strong candidate who has room to grow but is looking to make a difference in a high-pressure solution environment.
