Summary:
This position assists in the analysis, design, development, and deployment of web based financial applications to meet the business needs of both internal and external clients. This position also demands mentoring, training, and guiding less experienced web development team members.
Position Responsibilities &
Essential Functions:
Develop and maintain web applications and their associated databases.
Perform technical analysis/design work when necessary.
Perform unit testing on code and assist with system and UAT testing.
Lead code reviews.
Investigate technical issues when required.
Respond and provide support for production issues reported to the Helpdesk (Service Point)
Assist in the preparation of documentation where necessary for new or changed business, operational, or support procedures.
Train / mentor new members of team in CTS standards and general on the job training and project development activities.
Participate in analysis and planning of development activities.
Ensure that requirements are clearly understood by team members prior to design and development effort being engaged.
Technically assess all development efforts in terms of skill requirements and resource availability; recommend delivery times.
Stay informed on emerging technologies and transfer knowledge to the team members.
Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

Education and/or
Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; 6 or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to develop internal and externally facing web applications.
Experience developing and debugging applications utilizing ASP.NET/C#, T-SQL, MVC, MS SQL Server, Visual Studio, Team Foundation Services (TFS), HTML, CSS, KnockoutJS, and JQuery/JavaScript.
Possess a solid understanding of n-tier web application architecture, object oriented design, responsive web and design patterns.

Language Ability:

Mathematical Ability:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
